CONF. 45 WHAT WE MUST DO FOR PRACTICES TO YIELD POSITIVE RESULTS

We are going to look at this issue because everything we do here is of a practical kind. The fundamental thing is to learn how to get the practices.

In the practices of astral projection, for example, most people are failing.

Only occasionally do you see that the students are doing practice. This is so clear that we are about the different elements that can lead us to failure when one tries to do any practice.

All practices give positive results, undoubtedly. The important thing is that one gets to do the practice in the disposition of mind that is required for it.

  • FIRST ASPECT OF FAILURE IS LACK OF CONCENTRATION:

We are concentrated when Consciousness is focused on action.

If our Conscience is our God, it never fails.

If a person focuses his Consciousness on what he is doing, if he is not distracted, he does in fact have power. And Concentration is the greatest power to which one can aspire.

We think we concentrate because we carry out certain apparently judicious tasks, but we are not really concentrated.

If you want to start developing Concentration, you must start carrying out a very simple task: see what you do in the day. Thing by thing, it is useful to write it down, to be aware. The day we manage to make these things concentrated will be a success.

So: the first work of the day, the second, the third, the fourth, the fifth, the sixth, the seventh, and so on, one after the other.

We must get to do them consciously, to be aware of each of the defects that intervene in each task of the day.

So, one has to fight every day from the moment one wakes up to be concentrated, to live the moment, not to be distracted, not to allow one's Consciousness to go away.

Consciousness means: WITH, which is more and SCIENCE, which is Wisdom.

Points to keep in mind:

\- Trying to do thing by thing.

\- Without thinking about anything else.

\- Without interrupting one thing to do another.

\- Not thinking about things that are going to be done later.

\- Not remembering things that have already been done.

\- Staying focused on what we do.

  • SECOND ASPECT OF FAILURE, LACK OF FAITH.

What is it not to have faith? To doubt, and doubt always leads one to failure. What is having faith? To know, to have certainty.

It is different to know than to believe. One can believe that one can do many things. For example, I may believe that I can fly, but if I have not flown, I am sure that I will not fly. There lies the difference.

To have faith, it is necessary to overcome something called doubt. What makes us doubt? Always to be one with the mechanical imagination.

When you no longer doubt, you don't let the Devil convince you. When one overcomes doubt, one immediately does and wisdom arises, faith in what one is doing. And then never doubt again.

A person who has not consciously an astral projection doubt. But a person who had already it consciously, found out, verified, investigated, has nothing to doubt. Just apply and you have your results.

  • A person who does knows. And if he knows, he doesn't hesitate again. He already has faith in what he does, he has overcome ignorance, he has conquered doubt, and he has achieved faith.
  • THIRD ASPECT OF FAILURE: FEAR.

Fear makes everyone powerless and incapable. When a person is afraid, he does not do. This is the force against Love, which is in the Works. Let's look at specific examples:

Let's imagine that from a building that is there we are going to place a tempered band of steel up to here, fifteen centimeters high. We are going to put some handrails and a mat so that it is very secure.

From there, fifteen centimeters above the ground, on that well-tempered steel band, each one of you will advance holding on to the handrail, walking on the carpet.

Anyone imagines that they cannot? Can everyone? Is there anyone who thinks he cannot?

We are going to do the same task, but at a hundred meters high. We're going to bring up the same band, we're going to put it with its mat and everything. Then we say to each one: "go away."

Do you pass? And so, they will realize that not a single one will happen. Why? Because immediately the imagination puts fear in us. And if our fear is not resolved, as long as the imagination does not resolve, the will does not work. As long as you do not resolve your fears, you will not be able to do an astral projection, you will not be able to meditate, because your will, which is what leads you to do, will not work for you.

  • FOURTH ASPECT OF FAILURE: THE OBJECTIVE:

Undoubtedly, if you have read about the secret of success, you will know that when you have a goal you never fail. But when you don't have a goal you're lazy.

Experts teach that out of 10,000 ships that leave port with a certain objective, 10,000 succeed, that is, they always get where they are going. But imagine a ship loaded with all the crew, provisions and everything. They call him to captain: "Shall we start?" "Yes, let's get started." And they ask: "Where is it going?" "I don't know. I don't know yet."

So, what happens? The crew begins: "let's leave for Paris", "let's not leave for Germany". Another will say: "no, we'd better go to New York", and so on. Then the whole crew starts fighting and no one does anything. Because there is no objective.

We always must have an objective: to go to Court, to investigate how a certain business is doing, to make a transfer of funds, to talk to a certain teacher, to investigate a certain psychological aggregate, etc. To have a certain course.

Therefore, before starting the practice, we define: what is the objective that we are going to achieve as soon as we have a astral projection? What is the purpose of going to look for a certain Master? Or am I simply going to tell him: what else, what has he done? As they all do on the physical plane, so that they can update their personal history. Whenever you have an objective, it must be determined, fixed.

So, let's study a little bit in what we are failing in these four points: if we are lacking in Concentration, if we have Faith, if we find defects of Fear, let's ask the Divine Mother to eliminate them, and finally let's set ourselves an Objective. With all of this we must not fail.

There are 4 rules that every student of esotericism should know:

1- KNOWING HOW TO YEARN: To desire is to yearn, "Desire is the source of all strength"

2- KNOWING TO SARE: To begin to do, to begin, to dare, Try.

3- KNOWING HOW TO DO: You start doing a task... the one who does is the Being.

4- KNOWING HOW TO SHUT UP: No one can talk about what he sees in other dimensions.
