CONF. 23 FANATICISM AND MYTHOMANIA

Both fanaticism and mythomania are two defects that it is urgent to eliminate from our psychology in order to advance in the Objective Work.

  • FANATICISM

The fanatic is the person who manifests too much zeal for a belief. Fanaticism is a disease of the mind. It is believing that being a believer in something is already safe.

When one receives Knowledge and knows what one has to do, two paths open up: the path of the believer and the path of the practitioner.

The believer believes that knowledge is enough, and from that day, he dedicates himself to pretending that he is a saint. There is already the fanatic, who will not let us progress at all. We all have within us something called the false feeling of the ego. It will make us believe that we are doing very well and will not let us progress.

Above all, this knowledge is revolutionary and can only be achieved through works. On this path progress is only made by works. If there is no psychological death, there is no liberation of Consciousness; if one is not born sexually there will be no Existential Bodies; if one does not sacrifice for humanity, there is no Love or advancement; if it is not practiced, it is not verified.

The practitioner understands this and begins to show his works. This totally annoys the fanatics, who, moved by the defects of laziness and envy, hope to self-actualize themselves without working.

What fanaticism does is bury us, make us useless, mediocre forces, useless beings.

What is wanted is for each one of us to revolutionize, to advance like a true soldier on the battlefield, without fanaticism, united to see true results, made through each one of us.

The fanatics settle themselves as instructors and directors within the groups, they trap the people who come in search of liberation to get them in the path of the fanatic, and if they rebel, they look for a way to get them out of the groups.

This defect does not let us see that we have all the subjective elements alive, that we have not eliminated them, that practice is what makes the master, that we have not created the Existential Bodies of the Being, that in order to awaken and raise the Kundalini we must stop being traitors disguised as meek sheep, that the work is yet to be done, and that the worst mistake is to believe and feel good.

  • Let's reflect a little on these details of the fanatics:
  • The first fanatic who has surpassed himself is not known. This is because they don't like the practice.
  • They don't like to check.
  • They think that Esotericism is too easy.
  • They are followers of people.
  • They always want to have a teacher.
  • They don't follow themselves, they're imitators.
  • They live with the experiences of others.
  • They affirm things that they do not know, that others told them.
  • They talk about the experiences of others without understanding them.
  • They don't like people who want to show works.
  • They always appear to criticize their colleagues.
  • The fanatics begin to attack the practitioner to reduce his strength.
  • They are retarding elements within groups, they originate entropy in them.
  • They are the worst enemies of an organization.
  • They seek within the groups to put themselves in positions where they seem to work.
  • They are imitators and like to pretend to work.
  • They teach practice and they don't practice.
  • They talk about dying and they don't die.
  • They talk about being born and they are not born.
  • Being able to sacrifice more for humanity, they do not do so; they are satisfied with the little.
  • They believe that with what they know about some spiritual knowledge they are safe.
  • They believe that because they have come to and received this knowledge they are already saved.
  • They always think they're doing great.
  • They think they are doing better than everyone else.
  • They consider themselves the ones who know the most because they have so many years in knowledge.
  • They follow books literally, they read a lot.
  • They are documented so much. They are very intellectual.
  • They want to show that they know a lot.
  • They always end up twisting knowledge and their objective of serving humanity.
  • They look at others as condemned because they do not accept knowledge.
  • They want to turn knowledge into fanaticism.
  • They want to turn knowledge into a religion.
  • They are fan of rituals.
  • A fanatic is a victim of the abyss because he neither does nor allows to be done. And when someone goes to work, to do something, they are the first to attack and point him out. Because they do not do anything nor do they want someone else to do.
  • They are good for neither good nor bad.
  • They waste their time miserably in gatherings and coffee shops.
  • They always repeat the same thing.
  • They are always ready to initiate a controversy, they are schismatic, they like to discuss and debate.
  • They affirm that you have to enter the temples with the right foot because the left is negative. Negative is what they have within themselves.
  • They affirm that women cannot direct chains of force because they are passive.
  • They pretend to be prophets and affirm things that they did not prove.
  • They live talking about tragedies and cataclysms.
  • They are fear-mongering.
  • They have the apocalyse defect.
  • They always fall pointing at other fans because they see the defect through the mirror.
  • They don't listen to suggestions, they're proud.
  • They are like weeds, they are found everywhere.

It is important to deepen and draw conclusions from all this and to observe ourselves so as not to let the fanatical defect acts.

  • MYTHOMANIA

Mythomania is a very marked tendency among people affiliated with various schools of metaphysical type. Apparently very simple subjects, overnight, after a few hallucinations, they become mythomaniacs.

Unquestionably, such people with a subjective psyche almost always succeed in surprising many unwary people, who in fact become their followers.

The mythomaniac is like a wall without foundations, a slight push is enough to turn him into sediment.

The mythomaniac believes that this occultism is too easy something, and from one moment to the next he declares himself Mahatma, Resurrected Master, Hierophant, etc.

The mythomaniac usually has impossible dreams, he invariably suffers from what is called delirium of greatness.

This class of characters is usually presented as reincarnations of fabulous, legendary and fictitious Masters or heroes.

However, it is clear that we are emphasizing something that deserves to be explained. Egoic centers of the animalistic subconsciousness, which in the relations of exchange follow certain mental groups, can provoke by associations and fantastic reflexes something like spirits, which are almost invariably illusory forms, personifications of the pluralized ego.

It is not surprising, therefore, that any psychic aggregate assumes the form of a Master in order to dictate false oracles. Any of these entities, which together constitute what is called the Ego, can, if he so wishes, take the form of a Mahatma or Guru. Then the dreamer, returning to the waking state, will say of himself: "I am self-realized, I am a Master."

It should be noted in this connection that in any case in the subconscious of every person there is latent the tendency to take sides, to personification.

This, then, is the classic reason why many Asiatic Gurujis, before initiating their disciples into transcendental magic, warn them against all possible forms of self-deception.

It is not possible to awaken Consciousness, to objectify it totally, without having previously eliminated the subjective elements of perceptions. Such subhuman elements are made up of that whole multiplicity of bully and scream defects which together constitute the Ego.

The essence, bottled up between all these subjective and incoherent entities, sleeps deeply. The annihilation of each of these subhuman entities is essential to liberate the essence. Only by emancipating the essence is its awakening achieved, then its enlightenment becomes.

I believe that the sincere misguided, the asleep who dreams of being awake, the mythomaniac who believes himself to be super-transcended, the hallucinated person who qualifies himself as enlightened, can and does not really do much more harm to humanity than the one who has never entered our studies in his life.

We are speaking in very harsh language; however, you can be sure, dear reader, that many asleep, hallucinated, when reading these lines, instead of stopping for a moment to reflect, correct and rectify, will look only for a way to appropriate my words with the evident purpose of documenting their follies.

The worst kind of madness results from the combination of Mythomania with hallucinations.

This class of subjects, when studying this chapter, adapt my words to others and think of themselves that they have already dissolved the Ego, although they have it more robust than a gorilla.

We have been able to see very ugly things; It is frightening to see mythomaniacs, hallucinated sleepers prophesying follies, slandering others, calling others black magicians, etc.

From here they go out to found new pseudo-esoteric schools, they shine like fatuous lights and end up going out, confusing and leaving their followers in the greatest disorientation, who establish the pseudo-esoteric defect within their psyche, as well as recurrence.
