CONF. 36 MEDITATION AND KOANS

Meditation is the bread of the wise man.

We have to know how to be serious, we have to know how to change, if we really do not want to fail in the Esoteric work. Meditation is essential when we sincerely want such a change.

He who does not know how to meditate, the superficial, will never be able to dissolve the Ego; he will always be a powerless log in the furious sea of life.

When one wants wisdom, one has no choice but to learn to meditate. To meditate is to enter the Sixth and Seventh Dimensions, and this can only be done in one way: by gagging the Ego and freeing the Essence. That exercise, after you learn to do, becomes very simple.

We need to get serious and put aside so much nonsense that abounds out there in pseudo-esotericism and cheap pseudo-occultism.

In no way do we desire inconsequential, superficial and vain Meditation.

We are interested in transcendental and real meditation. You have to know how to distinguish and manage what is one thing and what is the other. Transcendental Meditation is different, it seeks changes in the Being.

  • What is a Koan?

A Koan is an unanswered phrase, usually paradoxical. The mind will always try to answer it, but it can't because it doesn't know. Then the process of thinking is saturated and exhausted, and gives way to Consciousness. Thus, Ego is gagged and the Essence is released for a few moments.

  • Some Koans:* (Only one should always be used).
  • If these two hands sound like this when they crash (clapping noise), what does one sound like? And we concentrate on what one sounds like. And we wait for the answer until the Essence escapes.
  • We ask ourselves: "Where is the Truth?" And we are waiting for the answer.
  • We ask ourselves: "where is the emptiness?" That is another unanswered statement. When we see the hole there we go, because we are looking for a hole. Then we only ask ourselves: "Where is the void?" until we see the hole.
  • "If all things are reduced to Unity, what is Unity reduced to?" There we remain still waiting until it happens.

The Koan is necessary until the breakaway takes place. The first of all is very effective. You do this, you imagine what one sounds like, and you stay there until you are free.

  • Practice for Meditation with Koans
> > 1. First you always have to look for a quiet place, you can do it during the day in the office or in a place where you can lock yourself up and that no one disturbs you or have a meditation room. You will see the importance of having that kind of place. This is a place to seek Power and Wisdom, so it is a very special place. > > 1. Protection of the Belilín and Magic Circle. > > 2. Supplication to the Father and Mother for Assistance. With our own words and with good imagination.

3- Relaxation. As simple as possible, seeing that our body is very comfortable, that nothing mortifies it, it is advisable to go through everything. When we feel very relaxed, we take the next step.

4- Evolutional Thinking: For example: I prepare a soil, I weed it, I disinfect the soil, I fertilize it, I prepare a seedbed, I place the seeds until they germinate, I make the furrows, I transplant them, I water them, I imagine how they are born and grow, after a while they give buds, they begin to bloom, the rose bush becomes beautiful, I feel its aroma, it gives flowers and flowers.

5- Involutional Thinking: I imagine how the rose bush withers, dries up, no longer bears roses, it dries up completely, the wind knocks it down, the wind blows away the fallen branches, everything is over.

6- Synthesis of thought or stillness of mind.

7- Place the Koan.

  • Patiently practicing until you achieve it, practice makes perfect.
  • End of Conference 36\.
