Conference No. 22 - Phase B.
The Intimate Life of Each Individual
The objective of this conference is to show us that we all unfold in three different planes, that they must not be confused nor mixed with one another.
- The Public Life of Each One:
- There one unfolds with other people regarding work, trade, money, groups, psychological gymnasium, students, and in general with everything pertinent to the external world and therefore it relates to the Sacrifice for Humanity.
- The Private Life of Each One
- In this part unfolds what is pertinent to the family, parents, children, wife. Therefore, this part relates to the Spiritual Birth, to the sexual part, and to the psychological gymnasium that the family relationship implies.
Upon observing this life, we can see that it also belongs to the external world, and unfolds entirely in the external world.
In the different matters of one's private life and the couple, other people must not intervene, nor should the different events and problems of this part be mixed with public life. Just as we must not bring the problems of public life into our private life or home.
- The Intimate Life of Each One
- To this life belongs everything related to the inner world; the initiations, the degrees, the different advancements of each one, the inner experiences, the secret teachings that each of us receives in the inner world, the various secrets that are revealed to us etc., etc.
The intimate life is prostituted when we take it to the public life and that is a very serious error that generates much stagnation.
Upon telling our experiences, they lose strength; on the other hand, if we keep them in silence, later on we will understand them and that will give us psychological strength.
Many of the experiences that our Parents give us allow us to experience and understand directly the different things, thus they become reality and give us strength.
Many of the experiences that our Parents give us in the inner world are warnings of the things that are going to happen in the physical world, which would allow us to unmask many traitors, and lead the groups along the correct path. But when we comment on them to others we fail to realize the warnings they are giving us. Many students tell their experiences trying to get others to say that he is working (pride and vanity).
The majority of students do not know how to interpret their experiences and almost always interpret them wrongly. But the worst thing is to get other sleeping people to interpret them for us since they confuse and disorient us, at the same time that we become dependent on them and reveal the various secrets that are entrusted to us.
We do ourselves terribly harmed when we tell our experiences to our colleagues or to people with a dormant conscience; We do ourselves a great wrong and risk not being allowed to bring back the memories of the transcendental experiences of the inner worlds.
Many of the fellows who are with us today later on they will no longer be and they may use what you once said against you.
- Let us remember that envy is the secret engine of everything.* Many experiences that we tell others will cause us to stagnate in the work, due to the criticism or envy that these generate, due to the misinterpretations of others, etc.
When we tell experiences with the intention of boasting or feeling more special or superior to others, these intentions generate karma, feeling the loss of inner strength.
The initiate must learn to discern with the consciousness through intuition whether the astral experience is true or false of what he hears and with what intention he is telling it.
It is important to work on your own frustrations, fears and envy so that what you hear does not frustrate you. Let’s remember that each one carries out his or her own inner process according to his or her work.
Other people who know and understand that "a man is known by his dreams", realize this and manipulate our psychological defects; by telling them our dreams we undress ourselves before them.
Every initiate must learn to discern between which experiences to count and which not. At the beginning it will be through trial and error; Later, as he eliminates the ego, he learns what specific things to ask to understand the context of an experience and not to boast of the transcendental, since such a situation of wanting to show himself out of pride to others can lead him not to remember the higher teachings for a while, until he corrects his mistake.
Clarification: Students should not worry that at the beginning they will not fully understand the experiences, because they will have to develop with time and maturity the ability to associate and the intuition to read their inner world.
