Conference 15 — Ego, Personality, and Essence

This conference aims to teach us to differentiate the activity of each of these, to learn to observe and distinguish each of our acts. When the ego is manifesting, when consciousness is manifesting, and when personality is.

There Are Three Types of Acts

1Acts of the Ego or recurrences (because they are not awake). They happen again with their consequences.
2Accidents (Because of being asleep). They provoke new recurrences.
3Conscious Acts (for which we must be awake).

What Is the Ego?

Different Names Given to the Ego

| Egos | Injustice |

| Psychological aggregates | Ignorance |

| Defects | Suffering |

Some Things About the Psychological Defect

Psychological defects are born from impressions that are not transformed in any of our existences. They are strengthened with the passing of the centuries and are manifested by the lack of self-observation or wakefulness.

The psychological defect has a molecular nature. It belongs, therefore, to the fifth dimension, but it can take over our personality and, through it, our physical body.

Each defect has its own personality.

The New or Newly Created Defects

In these last existences, we have created many defects that we did not have before.

  • Examples: Phone defect, cell phone defect, TV viewer defect, driver defect, reader defect, filmmaker defect, citizen defect, pornography defect, etc.

There Are Very Old Psychological Defects

For example: the defect of laziness, which is the father of all.

  • Details of Laziness: Idleness, partying, fun, boredom, degeneration, disobedience, antipathy defects, etc.

The Ego Evolves

There are lustful egos. It is a very extensive family:

  • Let's look at some: I fornicate, I commit adultery, I go to the brothel, I conquer, I masturbate, I of anal sex, I passive homosexual, I active homosexual, I auto homosexual, I zoophile, I lesbian, I of incest, I celibate, I practice oral sex, I cunnilingus, etc.

These egos increase their molecular weight in each existence and make their force of manifestation greater, if they are not worked upon.

All Egos Can Be Eliminated

To eliminate a psychological ego, the process of psychological death must be followed:

1Discover it: Be in constant wakefulness (self-observation) to discover it.
2Observe it: See what it does, why it does it, when it does it, etc.
3Understand it: Comprehend it through reflection.
4Eliminate it: Kill it by asking the Divine Mother to eliminate it.

If we do not work on ourselves, the Egos will die in Involution.

The psychological ego takes over the physical body and makes us do what it likes. The ego makes us commit many errors, exhausts our energies, and prevents any progress toward our Being.

The Ego Originates the Recurrence

Each defect brings with it the accounts receivable and payable, if we do not work to understand it, we will continue to repeat the lesson until we apprehend everything that needs to be apprehended.

The Defect Is Desire

| Consciousness Trapped in the Defect (Wisdom of Evil) | → | Consciousness Liberated After the Death of the Defect |

| :--- | :---: | :--- |

| Manifestation: Psychological aggregate / Ego. | → | Rescue: Light, Wisdom, Fire, and Love (Capacity to Do). |

All our defects manifest themselves as desires: I want to drink, to dance, to copulate, to eat, to talk, to have fun, etc.

What Is Personality?

Personality is an energetic vehicle. It is formed in the first seven years of life and is strengthened in the rest of existence. It is born in time, it dies in time.

  • There is no future for personality. It is formed in each existence so that the defects manifest themselves in the physical body. With each physical body its own personality is formed.
  • Personality is formed by imitation.
  • Personality fascinates us with the world.
  • Personality has us hypnotized.

Some Elements That Form the Personality

Name – Lastname – Sex-Age – Education – Economic Position – Place – Language – Concepts – Habits – Fashions – Customs – Norms – Fears – Laws of the Country – Profession – Titles.

Personality Types

There are two personality types:

  • The passive Personality, at the service of the Being. It is receptive.
  • The active Personality, at the service of the ego. It keeps us identified.

Distribution of Consciousness / Essence

| State of Consciousness | Percentage | Characteristics |

| :--- | :---: | :--- |

| Trapped Consciousness | 97% | Innocent and trapped (bottled in the egos). |

| Awakened and Free Consciousness | 3% | Free and self-conscious. |

  • 97% Trapped Consciousness: Innocent and trapped.
  • 3% Awakened and Free Consciousness: Free and self-conscious.

What Is Essence?

The Essence is the true, the real, the immortal of each one of us, it is the only thing that is truly worthwhile.

One hundred percent of our Essence is immortal, but it is divided into two parts: one that is free and self-conscious, with 3% of Consciousness awakened and free; and the remaining 97% of Essence which is innocent and trappable, so that we can release it and make our own creation, so that we can take wisdom out of evil.

The 3% of Essence manifests itself in the first years of existence, but when we reach the age of seven, when we have the use of reason, it finishes sleeping, and only in a few cases will the voice of Consciousness be heard again.

  • Let us look at an example of action:* A girl goes to the cinema with her boyfriend, her mother tells her to be careful, not to mess up. The girl returns home and tells her mother that she was right, that her boyfriend proposed sex to her, but that she acted “consciously”. That when he proposed to her, she “consciously” said no.

But Let's Really See What Happened

  • The ego of lust: Told her to accept.
  • The personality: Is different, she thinks that she can get pregnant, that this would ruin her life, that she has no guarantees, etc., etc.; it was the personality that rejected the proposal and not the Conscience as she supposes.
  • The Conscience: Did not intervene at any time. The Conscience would have told her:
“This is not my partner, this is a stranger who just wants to have fun. His wife is someone else, etc., etc.”

If we reflect on any of our actions, we will realize who the actors are, what was left over or what was missing.

This theme presides over the observation of oneself, so we must become reflective and know how to differentiate the actor in each act.
